We are freelance photographers and writers based in South Africa and share a passion for conservation, natural history, wild places and indigenous cultures. Aside from ourselves, we have 8 other specialist photographers who contribute their pictures to our image bank.
We have published 26 coffee table books, many of which are a celebration of nature and the environment.
We own and manage Africa Imagery, which is an online database of 38 000 images of the people, wildlife and landscapes of the African continent. But as part of our commitment to using our photographic and writing skills to greater affect, our two latest books – In Search of the African Wild Dog and In Search of the African Lion – have a strong conservation emphasis. Our work has appeared in numerous local and international publications, German Geo and National Geographic.
We also undertake commissioned photography in the tourism sector, most notably BBC Wildlife, run photographic safaris and workshops.
